Warrior Brewing Company located in Duluth’s Lincoln Park craft district open new and bigger Taproom.

The disabled veteran-owned brewery opened last September in the same spot where Lake Superior brewing used to operate.

After opening one of the issues, they faced was that they couldn’t brew beer and operate a taproom at the same time in the same space. So, on May 1 Warrior took over a second space in the same building that used to house a photography studio. This means that they can now do both.

The Taproom expansion announcement had various military and first responder organizations there spreading the word about what they do.

We spoke to Bryan Shicks, one of the Warrior Brewing Company ambassadors about various efforts by the company do help and support the community.

“They make great beer supporting veterans. They do a lot of collaboration with different organizations which cost them money. This is profits out of Warrior beer that they’re giving back to support other veterans, police, first responders and fire department organizations. I think that’s absolutely amazing that they’re willing to do that at their own cost.”

With this new expansion, Warrior Brewing now plans to be open six days a week Monday to Saturday, they are also adding and improving outdoor space throughout the summer.
