Two people charged with child neglect on Red Lake Reservation

Two people have been charged for child neglect on the Red Lake Reservation.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 41-year-old Julius Fineday and 63-year-old Sharon Rosebear willfully deprived a child of food, clothes, shelter, health care, and supervision. Court documents say the neglect caused the death of the child.

Both will make their initial appearances in U.S. District Court at a later date, facing felony charges.

This case is the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI and the Red Lake Tribal Police Department.
