You’ve seen the ducks float. Now it’s time to see them fly!

The 3rd annual Run-A-Muck Lucky Duck ATV Ride is coming up next Saturday. It starts at MJ’s in Pengilly.

Kim Chambers, club treasurer, said, “We’re going to do the duck chuck instead of the ducks floating down the river. It should be really fun.”

Club secretary Chris Sheff added, “Riders are encouraged to deck out their ATV in honor or memory of those who’ve had cancer.”

Members decided to donate the money raised this year to the Angel Fund. The Angel Fund provides financial support to people with cancer.

Kelly Grinsteinner, Executive Director of the Angel Fund, said they feel lucky, pun intended, to have been chosen. And it couldn’t come at a better time.

“This year we have an unprecedented volume of requests. We’ve already gifted more than $53,000 this year, which is way above a normal year,” she said. “We are on par to have a record setting year.”
