Rock Ridge students benefit from new Orthopaedic Associates expansion

Rock Ridge students in Virginia, Minnesota now have a great way to learn more about career opportunities in the healthcare industry thanks to a new $2 million, 7,500 square-foot remodel of Orthopaedic Associates.

District Superintendent Noel Schmidt says “The CTE program will offer educational programming, workshops and job shadowing that will give students a chance to explore healthcare careers, of which there are plenty in the area”

The expansion is built within the Rock Ridge District’s administration building.

It features an orthopedic medical clinic, x-ray suite and physical therapy gym.

The clinic is part of a partnership between Rock Ridge School District and Orthopaedic Associates to help provide pathways for students to explore careers in healthcare.
