Pattison park filled with tourists visiting Big and Little Manitou falls

Wisconsin recently broke a statewide record in Tourism previously set back in 2019. One of the many areas in Northwestern Wisconsin seeing tourists are in Douglas county. Pattison Park is filled with tourists as they flock to see Big Manito Falls, the largest waterfall in the Badger state.
Dennis Rohr, one of the tourists visiting Pattison park, talked more about exploring the outdoors. “It’s awesome to be able to come out and see the parks, especially, all the natural things that we have here in Wisconsin.” Rohr said. “So much to see and such a cool time just to get out and relax and kind of recharge.”
The city of Superior is becoming a very popular destination for tourists vising Wisconsin. Rohr also said that visiting his family in the Twin Ports area, from Bonduel is always a wonderful opportunity to visit the local sights. “Our daughter just moved here from our area. A couple of years ago, we finally got the chance to come visit the parks my wife and I both teach. So this is fun for us to get out and and see finally get to see our past the park. We haven’t been here since 20 years ago, so this is really cool to be back.” Rohr said.
Rohr also talked about how his love of the landscape found in the Superior area. “Wisconsin geology is amazing. you know, continents that split apart like right here in Superior, we had all of those things at one time and it’s just really cool to, to see all the natural. You have to go out west to see great things. You can see it all right here in Wisconsin” Rohr said. “We’re going to go to Amnicon falls as well and we’re going to go up to Superior and maybe go up the north shore and check out if we need to go up and see Split Rock Lighthouse again. We haven’t been up there in a lot of a lot of years, so they’re really cool to go see that.”
