Names released in fatal roll-over crash near Solon Springs

One man is dead after a single-car, roll-over crash near Solon Springs in Douglas County.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded 9:04 a.m. Tuesday to WIS 35 SB at County Road T.

Authorities say one passenger was deceased when they arrived. They believe the driver of vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Camry, swerved to miss an object but lost control, rolling the vehicle over.

Mahesh Boya, 24-year-old from Eden Prairie, MN, was ejected from the back seat of vehicle and was killed in the crash. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver, 23-year-old Pallapolu Reddy, and passenger, 21-year-old Bharath Reddy, were taken to the Duluth Essentia with non-life threatening injuries.

22-year-old Thumu Srilekha Reddy was also in the vehicle. She was not injured.

The surviving three were also from Eden Prairie, MN and were wearing their seatbelts, according to the police report.

The Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
