Light Duluth Teal is coming up on their 10 year anniversary event. It’s a fundraiser for MOCA, the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

The gala is Saturday, September 23rd, at the DECC.

Kris Greer, a Duluth native and ovarian cancer survivor, said, “I can hardly believe a decade has gone by. A decade of raising awareness up in the Northland. And supporting women and families, it means so much to me.”

She told us they’ve raised almost half a million dollars at the event for research focused on early detection, better treatments, and hopefully one day a cure.

Look for landmarks to be lit teal during that weekend as well.
