Lake Superior Zoo celebrates 100 years with Zoo La Palooza

Lake Superior Zoo hosted their 100th year celebration called “Zoo La Palooza” on Friday. Guests were able to enjoy free admission, feeding the animals, free birthday cake, playing games to fundraise for the zoo and more. Attendees were also treated to live music by Babie Eyes, cash bars and food from local food trucks. Duluth Mayor Emily Larson was in attendance and gave a special address at the event.

The Lake Superior Zoo is the 19th oldest zoo in the United States. It is open daily from 10a.m. to 5p.m.
