A rather quiet start to the work week with northerly winds streaming across the region. Cloud cover is slowly clearing out as the low-pressure system that brought last weekend’s rain moves across MI. We are still seeing some smoke aloft and near the surface from the wildfires up in Canada.

Winds will turn to back out of the south and southwest tomorrow and scattered showers and some thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon, primarily over northern MN.

Widespread haze before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
TUESDAY
A slight chance of showers between 2pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the morning.
