Colorful showcase at the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Carlton

The second annual Hot Air Balloon festival by Sweetly Kismet Candy Store in Carlton was held on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th of September, it is Minnesota’s Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival which took place at Black Bear Casino Resort.

Kismet in Carlton brought a dozen Aeronauts with their beautiful balloons to the event to showcase their love of the sport of ballooning. The two days show had a pilot meet and greets where people could ask them questions and see their equipment, balloon inflations, tethered balloon rides, balloon launches and flights.

Majestic night balloon illuminations were the showstopper at the end of the night.  Other activities and attractions included live bands, Sweetly Kismet Candy Store Tent, a dozen local area food trucks, beer garden, kid zone, face painting, chainsaw carving and much more.
