Hibbing residents encouraged to collect items for the citywide Community Cleanup Day

To help make the city look a little nicer, Hibbing leaders have organized a Community Cleanup Day.

Residents can bring tires under 24″, appliances, scrap metal, and furniture to the Stuntz Garage. The address is 1100 E 25th Street.

The days are Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd from 8am-4pm.

Volunteers will be taking the items.

You CANNOT bring: 1) Hazardous waste 2) Light bulbs 3) Paint 4) Asbestos 5) Oil

Deputy Police Chief Tyler Schwerzler said, “It’s going to give people the opportunity to clean up their properties before we go full swing this year for 2023, enforcing our blight.”
