Fatal motorcycle accident closes West Arrowhead Road

On Monday morning, Duluth Police responded to a fatal motorcycle accident on West Arrowhead Road.
The initial investigation found that 20-year-old Leo Buxbaum was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when they hit another vehicle and crashed into a pole.
Police say Buxbaum was wearing a helmet but died immediately from the accident.
Authorities say West Arrowhead Road westbound from Kenwood Avenue and eastbound from Rice Lake Road will be reopened shortly.
Duluth Police shared their condolences to the family and loved ones.
