The last Viking passenger cruise has left Duluth for the 2023 season. The passenger ship carrying the last bout of people out of Duluth has sailed off tonight.

The cruise brings in thousands of dollars into Duluth’s economy by bringing tourists into our community and giving them a taste of the Twin Ports.

Not only do the passengers get to enjoy all Duluth has to offer, most of the crew are from abroad. One of the crew members we spoke with, Reuben, is from Italy. He says that his favorite part about visiting Duluth for the first time is the beautiful shoreline.

While on the Great Lakes Cruise, passengers have the opportunity to enjoy all five great lakes on 15 day trip. This round of people will end their trip in Tortonto.
