Plenty of families are cooling off at Pinehurst Park in Cloquet, at the beach!

It’s a filtered, chlorinated pool with a sand bottom.

For one family from Superior, it was their first time with their little girl.

Samantha Kirckof said, “It’s perfect. There are lifeguards. You don’t have to worry about geese and bugs. There are fun slides for the kids, and rafts out there to jump on. It’s really fun.”

For others, like Janine Cook and her family, its a weekly trip out. “With the zero entry, and lifeguards, it’s super nice for the little ones,” she told us.

It’s $5 per person, free for babies 1 and under. Or you can do a family pass for $109.

The beach is open 7 days a week, weather permitting.

There are no concessions this year, so make sure you pack some snacks.
