The new taqueria is located in the old Big Bottle liquor store at 2401 West Superior Street.

Oasis Del Norte was founded by Eduardo Sandoval Luna in 2015. Sandoval Luna grew up in Mexico and learned to cook authentic Mexican food from his mother who has a restaurant called The Oasis. He opened the taco truck as a way to share his culture with the people of Duluth.

The new restaurant offers the same authentic Mexican food that made the taco truck so popular. The menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and more. With occasional new specials and menu items.

“I’m excited to open the new taqueria and share my food with even more people,” said Sandoval Luna. “I want to bring my Mexican/Latin American culture to the taqueria, one taco at a time.”

The new restaurant will be in addition to the taco trailer, not a replacement. The popular Oasis Del Norte taco truck is not going away and will be back with a full schedule next spring and summer.
