This week is National Assisted Living Week. St. Anne’s Residence in downtown Duluth celebrated by hosting their first Fall Festival.

Executive Director Scott Johnson says that they are used to having fundraisers, but this is the biggest one they have had yet.

The public, as well as residents, were able to enjoy a day and evening of fun. Beer and brats were for sale, made by Billy Bar and Grill located in Duluth.

There were also vendors that sold clothes, baked goods while Johnson and his band played music for everyone to enjoy.

The Fall festival was also a way to celebrate 60 of St. Anne’s! Johnson says they are proud of such an accomplishment.

National Assisted Living Week’s goal is to educate the public, celebrate residents and honor those who dedicate their lives to helping others living in assisted living facilities.
