Justin Liles: Great holiday weekend

The weather this weekend will mainly be dry and quiet as a ridge of warmer air settles over the region. There is a chance for a stray shower across the arrowhead this evening closer to Cook County. High all over the Northland will surge in the 80s this weekend with the hottest day looking to be Monday.

\Another round of rain will return late Monday as an area of low pressure slides in from Manitoba. Some of these storms look to become rather strong late Monday into Tuesday. The cold front associated with the low will cool things down later Tuesday into Wednesday. As far as fire works displays. Every community may have to contend with scattered rain showers and storms.
