UMD women’s tennis beats UWS in border battle

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s tennis team took on the University of Wisconsin Superior on Friday afternoon.
Not only was it two rivals against each other, it was also two sisters. In the first singles match of the day as UMD’s Shay Callaway took on Maya Callaway.
Shay took both sets, each by the score of 6-2.
In number one doubles UWS’s Megan Dulong and Chiyono Owa, faced off against Shay Callaway and Mallory Lithun.
UMD took that doubles match 8-3.
As the Bulldogs win the day with a clean sweep 9-0.
