Two arrested in ongoing drug investigation

Duluth Police officers and investigators with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (LSDVCTF) arrested Duluth residents Malcolm Lewis, 29, and Robert Winston, 33, on pending charges of 1st Degree Drug Sale on Friday afternoon.

During a traffic stop near a home in the 400 block of E 6th Street, officers arrested Winston. He was booked in the St. Louis County Jail with pending charges of 1st Degree Drug Sale.

As part of the ongoing drug investigation, the LSDVCTF executed a search warrant of the house at approximately 1:42 pm and arrested Lewis, pending charges of 1st Degree Drug Sale.

LSDVCTF seized $1,685 in cash, drug packaging, and other evidence of drug sales. 52 grams of hidden heroin/fentanyl was also located and seized, using K9 Vili.
