The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has hosted multiple open houses for the public to view proposed concepts on the Highway 61 corridor study through Two Harbors.
MnDOT is currently presenting seven different options for future construction projects meant to help traffic flow in the area.
“MnDOT is not just not making a decision on how the project is going to look just without the public’s input,” said Josie Olson, the Project Manager with MnDOT. “Its very important that we hear from the community [and] we hear from the people that use the roadway.”
The proposed projects and a community survey can be found here.
MnDOT will reveal the chosen plan at another open house this fall.
