Prep Football: Northwestern downs Rice Lake to stay undefeated, Ashland & Superior fall

Friday marked week two of the 2021 Wisconsin prep football season.

Northwestern downed Rice Lake to stay undefeated, while Ashland and Superior each suffered losses to fall to 0-2.

Northwestern defeated Rice Lake 28-20 in their first meeting since 1986. Greg Ohman and Tanner Kaufman each scored two touchdowns in their victory helping the Tigers improve to 2-0.

Ashland fell to Hurley 38-12 at home.

Superior fell to Stevens Point on the road 43-0 after their match was called final due to lightning late in the third quarter.
