Hermantown can’t hold off No. 1 Totino-Grace in Class AAA state quarterfinals

On Tuesday the eighth seeded Hermantown boys basketball team fell to top-seeded Totino-Grace in the Class AAA state quarterfinals at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
The Hawks dropped their first state tournament game since 2018 83-50 behind three 10 point performances from Blake Schmitz, Michael Lau, and Abe Soumis.
Hermantown (21-9) will now play Mound Westonka in the consolation semifinals Wednesday at 2pm at Concordia University’s Gangelhoff Center. For the full bracket, click here.
