Duluthian Eric Hartmark wins Snowshoe Racing Championship

On Sunday Duluthian Eric Hartmark won the 2022 U.S. Snowshoe Racing Championship in Cable, Wisconsin.

At a pace of 6:07 the 44-year-old edged second place finisher Cole Crosby running at pace of 6:24 to take the 10k title. He was among a field of 79 finishers. Jackie Hering was the first female finisher taking fourth place overall.

This marked Hartmark’s 7th national title, and the victory was made extra sweet as it came on his birthday.
