2022 IIHF U-18 Women’s World Championship coming to Wisconsin

The 2022 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) U18 Women’s World Championship tournament will be coming to Wisconsin this summer.
Covid-19 postponed the event originally scheduled for this January in Sweden.
Labahn Ice Arena in Madision Wis. and Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, Wis. will host the world’s best youth women skaters from June 6-13.
The tournament will be played with a two-tiered preliminary round. The top four seeded teams in USA, Canada, Finland and Sweden will compete in Group A while the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia will play in Group B.
