Sabrina Ullman: Quiet, warmer week ahead

Mostly sunny Sunday Feb 18

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a light northwest wind becoming easterly after midnight. Overnight lows will be in the low single digits for areas near the international border. Elsewhere, many areas will only have temperatures drop to the upper teens.

President’s Day will have pleasant weather for those looking to spend time outdoors. It will be sunny with afternoon highs in the 30s.

Temperatures climb mid-week with most of the Northland warming to around 40 degrees Tuesday afternoon. Upper 40s are likely for the Bayfield Peninsula and areas east along the South Shore.
