April 7: Passing showers tonight, tomorrow

On and off rain showers will continue through Monday.

Tonight will have passing showers and gusty east winds. Overnight lows will be near 40 degrees.

Rain will continue Monday with it being the most widespread in the morning to midday time frame. Afternoon highs will range from the upper 30s by the head of the lake to the low 50s south and east of the Twin Ports.

If you are looking for clear skies to see the eclipse Monday afternoon, the Madison area will be the closest location for that. It also will have around 80% of the sun eclipsed versus the 60% eclipse over the Northland.

Tuesday will be much less windy with some lingering showers. There is a chance of rain Wednesday into Thursday as well.

Afternoon highs will be in the 50s and 60s this week as warmer air moves into the region.
