Sabrina Ullman: Quiet week ahead

March 31: Pleasant Easter Sunday

Today will be cloudy with highs near 40 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows ranging from 11 degrees in Ely to 26 degrees in Siren. A light northwest wind will become northeast after midnight.

Monday will have passing clouds and afternoon highs mostly in the 40s. A light east wind will keep temperatures a few degrees cooler by the North Shore.

There is a slight chance of snow Tuesday, mixing with rain in the afternoon. No accumulation is expected. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 30s to mid-40s Tuesday.

Sunny skies will return Wednesday, but so will gusty north winds. Most, potentially all, of our current snowpack is likely to melt this week. Once this happens, fire weather will be a concern.

By next weekend, we will be back to highs in the 50s. After a quiet week, rain chances will return Sunday night.
