Justin Liles: Warmth continues this week

February 19th: Warm this week

Warm this week

The winter has been one of the strangest winters I’ve had the pleasure to follow in my time at WDIO. March is around the corner and if you would’ve told me we would only have 17” of snowfall total for the year, I would have called you crazy. Speaking of crazy, temperatures are going to sit near 40° or greater through the middle of the week.

We’ll have at least one day where the temperatures drop back into the 20s for daytime highs on Friday. Temperatures will again climb through the weekend. The Great American Birkebeiner in Hayward, WI is going to still run but due to the lack of snow and warmer temperatures the course has been shortened significantly. Even warmer air returns next week with 50s possible in northern Wisconsin.
