Justin Liles: Drought conditions to continue

March 7th: Warmer Weekend

Warmer Weekend

Flurries are possible tonight, but accumulating snowfall is not expected for the Northland. Drier conditions return this weekend and next week along with more sunshine and warmer temperatures. This means our drought around the region will likely not see any improvement. There is a small chance of light lake effect snow along the south shore toward the U.P. of Michigan late Friday night through Saturday morning.

No accumulations are expected in these areas too. Our region will likely not see anything fall from the sky until the middle of next week. Temperatures will be warm this weekend with temperatures in the low to mid 40s. By the beginning of next week many of us will see temperatures in the 50s. Northern Wisconsin may see some lower 60s.
