Our morning began with chilly temperatures and a Wind Chill Advisory for portions of the Northland, but this afternoon will warm to the twenties. There will be a breezy southwest wind and increasing cloud cover by evening.

Tonight will have a breezy west wind and temperatures staying in the upper teens to low twenties throughout the evening. We could see light snow close to the international border, with minimal, if any accumulation.

Similar to last week, after a cool couple of days, our temperatures will improve this weekend. Afternoon highs for both Saturday and Sunday will be mostly in the thirties.

Saturday will be cloudy but calm. Snow chances return Sunday, with flurries during the day and then light snow expected from Monday morning until early Tuesday morning. Accumulations will be 1-2 inches, but we could have slick roads during this time. Both the morning and evening commute on Monday may be affected.

The Storm Track Weather Team is closely monitoring a more impactful round of snow moving in Wednesday. We could see this round last into Friday morning.

Despite this weekend being in the thirties, afternoon highs will drop steadily this week, returning to the teens starting Tuesday.
