Sabrina Ullman: Temperatures warm over the next few days

Tonight will be partly cloudy with overnight lows in the 40s. Patchy fog is possible, with some lasting into the early morning hours.

The next few days will have a warming trend, though a southeast wind will keep temperatures a little cooler by the head of the lake and along the North Shore. The aforementioned areas will have highs close to 60 degrees Monday while the rest of the Northland has temperatures close to 70 degrees.

Tuesday’s highs will be in the 60s along the North Shore and in the 70s elsewhere. Temperatures this week will peak on Wednesday, with areas south of the Twin Ports reaching 80 degrees.

Rain chances return late Wednesday night and continue through the weekend. The rain will likely stay on the Minnesota side of the area Thursday and Friday before spreading into Wisconsin on Saturday.

Wednesday

A slight chance of showers between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday
