Tonight will have a few lingering showers, especially for Ashland, Iron, and Gogebic Counties. Overnight lows will be in the fifties.

Patchy fog is likely again tonight, especially towards the head of the lake. Light rain is possible Monday, clearing by the afternoon.

A strong northerly wind Monday will bring in more wildfire smoke from Canada, resulting in reduced air quality and a hazy sky. An Air Quality Alert is in effect for Carlton County and areas northward until 9 am Monday, but we could see both the alert area and the timing be extended as conditions worsen.

The air is expected to improve by Tuesday. We take a brief break from rain before more enters the region Tuesday night.
