Sabrina Ullman: Drier, warmer weather for the next few days

This evening will have a few showers and thunderstorms, with rain chances in far northern Minnesota, the Arrowhead region, and northern Wisconsin into the U.P. Not much accumulation is expected, but we could see more strong storms pop-up before 9 pm. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper fifties.

Friday will be mostly sunny with afternoon temperatures warming to the low eighties for most of the Northland. This dry, warm weather will continue into the weekend with highs in the low eighties Saturday and areas west of the Twin Ports climbing into the upper eighties Sunday.

Areas away from the lake have potential to reach the low nineties Monday and Tuesday. Rain chances return Monday night, with a possibility of rain on the Fourth of July.
