MN DNR FalconCam shows new egg, just in time for Easter

A pair of peregrine falcons in St. Paul have laid an egg in time for Easter. The Minnesota DNR’s Nongame Wildlife Program has a FalconCam to broadcast a web streaming video of the pair nesting on top of the Sentinel Properties (formerly Bremer Bank) building.

The pair has been observed at this location since Christmas 2022. Their first egg arrived Sunday morning.

A nesting box placed in 1987 was first used by a pair of falcons in 1988. 86 young have been produced at this site so far, through several pairs of falcons.

The livestream of the DNR FalconCam, with more information on its current occupants, can be found at this link.
