There is still a chance of light snow through the early evening hours. Our weather is finally going to take a turn for the better. A warming trend will begin on Friday, with high temperatures rising from the 30s on Friday into the 50s and even low 60s by Monday. There is a chance of snow for northwest Wisconsin Friday night and early Saturday with up to 2 inches of snow possible.

A chance of rain is expected on Sunday and Sunday night. As the warming trend toward the end of the weekend and beginning of next week gets warmer our chances for flooding increase. Many parts of the Northland has about 6-10” of water content in the snow once it melts. Rapid melting will add stress to our homes and rivers. If you have dealt with flooding in your home in the past, you will likely be dealing with it next week.
