Winds have been from the south most of the day, bringing in with it some moisture. A cold front sweeping in from Canada will tap into the moisture and create some storms this evening. The strongest storms will come between 4-7pm west and north of the Duluth. Strong winds are possible along heavy rain, frequent lightning, and even some smaller hail.

A large low to the north will continue to bring us periods of rain and thunderstorms through the weekend. Once again, some stronger storms are possible by late Sunday. There could end of being stronger storms again late Sunday into Monday. The aforementioned low will continue to sit north of the border well into the middle of next week.
