Justin Liles: Possible frost tonight

Clouds have been slow to exit today. There is a warmer layer in the higher elevation of the atmosphere trapping the clouds in place. This means overnight low may stay on the warmer end and keep frost from forming. The Iron Range as well as parts of the arrowhead may see temperatures get close to forming some frost.

If frost does not form areas of patchy fog are likely near the shoreline of Lake Superior. Temperatures will likely be more seasonal over the weekend. There is a chance of seeing some light rain late Saturday into Sunday. By the middle of next week its going to feel more like fall around the Northland.
