Justin Liles: Not a lot of snow expected

November 27th: Still a dry week

Still a dry week

Colder air has now settled into the Northland and we’re starting to see some of it’s impacts around the region. Lake effect snows for the south shore will likely continue through the evening and into Tuesday morning. We will see another quick moving clipper that will pass along the international border Tuesday. The northern border and arrowhead may see some light snow Tuesday.

Not much accumulation is expected in these areas. The rest of the week looks to see a slight warming but breezy with west-southwest winds. By the time Thursday rolls in there is a chance of seeing the return of Lake Effect snow along the south shore.

As we head into the weekend there isn’t much snow in the forecast and November will likely go down at one of the top three least snowiest Novembers on record since 1950. There is a chance for some light snow to return Sunday but once again not much is expected as the better chance once again looks to stay to our south.
