Justin Liles: Freezing fog possible with steady warm temperatures

January 23rd: Foggy overnight

Foggy overnight

A wintry mix of light precipitation is expected to affect the Northland tonight through Wednesday into early Thursday. A glaze of ice may accumulate tonight into Wednesday morning, along with fog and clouds. The biggest concern will be hard surfaces like driveways, sidewalks, and roads. You may also have to chip away at the car windows Wednesday morning too.

The story of warm temperatures for the Northland for the rest of this week into the weekend continues! This may produce some near to record warm low temperatures at some locations in the Northland, and all temperatures are significantly above normal. By the middle of next week many parts of the Northland may see temperatures rise into the 40s.
