Justin Liles: A nice Tuesday

Most of the day has been cloudy for the communities along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Areas farther inland saw a little more sunshine. As we get more into the evening hours clouds will begin to clear all over the region. This is going to lead to a much cooler weather around the region tonight.

High pressure will be under control Tuesday and southerly winds will help boost our temperatures into the upper 50s and lower 60s. We’re also going to see more moisture being pumped into the Northland too. Wednesday will bring more rain plus the winds will be off the lake. The winds will be rather light, but a combination of rain and winds could lead to some foggy conditions Wednesday. Rain will stick around and linger through Friday and possibly into Saturday.

By the end of the week and into the weekend these showers will likely become more widespread. The good news with the temperatures will likely stay near 50° over the next week.
