Brandon Weatherz: Warmth and sunshine continues

The weather pattern we’re in will keep the warmth and sunshine we’ve gotten to enjoy lately with us into the first few days of November. This means trick-or-treaters don’t have to factor in too many layers to their costumes this year! Highs in the Northland will generally rise to mid-50s to mid-60s each day through Wednesday. Overnight temps cool to low and mid-30s Sunday night for a frosty start Monday morning, then a warming trend will bump lows near 50 by Wednesday night.

Cooler air returns to the region from the northwest Thursday into Friday. This system will be responsible for our next chance of precipitation. Scattered rain showers arrive Thursday evening and taper off during the day Friday. Rain may mix with snow on Friday, particularly looking north toward the international border. We will then have a typical fall chill return to the air for the end of next week and linger next weekend.
