It’s another morning where kids waiting on the bus will need to be thoroughly bundled up! Our Wednesday begins with temps in the teens and 20s. A quiet stretch of weather and a gradual warming trend will be with us into the weekend. Highs today will be a touch warmer than yesterday, but still cooler than average in low to upper 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy overall. Temps fall below freezing once more tonight with lows in the 20s.

Temps get a slight boost tomorrow with the Twin Ports taking a swing at 50. By Friday, morning temperatures will be above freezing and highs will range from low 50s to near 60. Mild conditions will linger through a comfortable weekend. The warmth peaks on Sunday when 60s and low 70s will be possible. Sunday afternoon brings a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Widespread showers and rumbles of thunder are expected Sunday night and Monday. Temps will then fall next week with snow trying to return to the mix for lingering precipitation Tuesday night.
