Areas of dense fog are impacting the morning commute. Use headlights and be prepared to slow down. Visibility begins to improve after sunrise with clear skies taking over by 9 a.m. It’s also a frosty start with temps ranging from mid-20s to mid-30s. Temperatures climb into mid-50s to mid-60s this afternoon. Lows stay mostly in the 40s tonight despite a lack of cloud cover. This is due to a passing warm front that boosts highs into the 70s for most on Tuesday. Tuesday evening and night will bring the chance for thunderstorms ahead of a cold front. Some storms may be capable of hail and strong winds.

Wednesday will then feature highs in the low to mid-50s with scattered showers arriving in the evening. Cold air settles into the Northland Thursday through the weekend. This period will feature a few opportunities for light precipitation, with snow possibly in the mix. This begins Thursday morning with light snow and wintry mix expected across the Arrowhead.
