UMD men’s hockey put up five spot against Bemidji

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was wrapping up a home and home series against Bemidji State at Amsoil on Saturday.

After tying their opening game in Bemidji the Bulldogs fell behind 1-0 early in the first period.

UMD answered as five different players scored goals in the game.

The Bulldogs scored two goals in just 44 second to take a 2-1 lead into the second period.

UMD won the game by the final of 29-24, outshooting the Beavers 29-24.

Up next the team heads south for their second series of the season against Omaha.
