Warm and dry for the next few days

Tonight will have an easterly wind and overnight lows ranging from 45 degrees in Butternut to 59 degrees in Brainerd. Skies will be mostly clear, but patchy fog possible late tonight into early Tuesday morning.

Tuesday will be the first of a few days with afternoon highs reaching the eighties for portions of the Northland. A southeast wind will keep the North Shore cooler, only reaching the sixties to low seventies close to the lake.

Wednesday’s temperatures will be similar. Thursday will be a touch warmer, with some areas reaching the upper eighties and possibly the low nineties.

A cold front Thursday evening will bring the next chance of rain, with chances increasing Friday and Saturday.

Sunny, with a high near 79. North wind around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

Thursday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Evening showers possible.

Friday

A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday

A chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Sunday

A slight chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Monday

Sunny, with a high near 70. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
