Precipitation will begin with freezing rain and sleet late tonight, reaching Pine and Burnett Counties at around midnight. By the morning commute, Carlton, Pine, and southern St. Louis Counties, northern Wisconsin, and the U.P. will all have mixed precipitation.

Due to the freezing rain, ice accumulations of 0.1″ to 0.25″ are possible, especially south of Hayward.

The precipitation type will transition to snow starting at around noon Monday. Around that time, we will also see snow become more widespread.

By the time we get to the Monday evening commute, areas west of Carlton and St. Louis Counties will be in the clear while the rest of the area still has snow. The snow will move east out of our region by around 10pm Monday.
