Tonight will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows in the twenties. We could see a few flurries between 8 and 11pm. The strong winds that we have experienced all day will continue into the evening, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

The wind will gradually decrease, calming to 5-10 mph by Monday afternoon. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

The good news is that the beginning of our week features warming temperatures. Portions of the Northland will reach the upper 50s on Wednesday.

Rain chances return Tuesday, with widespread precipitation likely through Thursday. A cold front moving in Wednesday will allow temperatures to drop to afternoon highs in the 20s by Friday and Saturday.

With the cold air moving in as precipitation lingers and a low-pressure system forms over the region, we are looking at the possibility of widespread, shovelable snow on Friday. The Storm Track Weather Team will continue to track this potential as it gets closer.
