The rest of this evening will be cloudy with patchy fog possible again tonight. Overnight lows will be in the teens, with a few spots along the Iron Range dropping below zero.

A clipper will enter the region early Monday morning, bringing light snow. Koochiching, Beltrami, and Itasca Counties will begin seeing flurries at around 3-4 am. Snow will reach the Iron Range at 6 am as it moves from the northwest to the southeast. By 8 am, there will be snow on the diagonal stretching from the North Shore through the Twin Ports and into Carlton County. Areas west of Bayfield will start seeing snow by 10 am, and by 1 pm, the rest of northwestern Wisconsin will have light snow.

With a low amount of moisture in the atmosphere and a weak system overall, this will be just a dusting of snow. Areas north of Grand Rapids could see and inch or more. Portions of the U.P. and Iron County could also have an inch or two. The rest of the Northland will have under an inch of accumulation, with most areas only getting a tenth to a quarter of an inch.

We will take a break from snow Monday night into Tuesday before another clipper arrives Tuesday night and lasts into Wednesday. Again, this will be a moisture-starved system with most areas getting under an inch of accumulation. The Storm Track Weather Team is keeping an eye on the potential for a more robust system on Friday.

Temperature-wise, we start the week pleasant. Cooler weather returns Thursday. By next weekend, we will have afternoon highs in the single digits.
