Runners took to the streets of Duluth on Saturday morning to participate in the 35^th annual Fitger’s 5k race. This year’s race capacity was nearly 1,300 participants.

Organizers of the race said it was a good way for people to walk, jog, or run out in the spring-like weather after winter each year. For some, the race serves as a way to prep for Grandma’s Marathon in June.

In addition to the race, guests could enjoy the Grandma’s Marathon Blowout sale. People were able to get Grandma’s shirt, hoodies, hats and other merchandise for the lowest prices of the season.
