Three Northlanders have started their own podcast: “Middle of the Rez Road.” Hosts Ricky Reilly, Morgan Fritzinger, and Allyssa Abramowski created the podcast with the goal of bringing more opportunities to Native Americans in the area, specifically in the trades.

Host Ricky Reilly says the idea started with him. “A buddy of mine who owns a construction business, he said that he was kind of having trouble finding work. And so we were just trying to figure out like, how can we get more awareness to the opportunities that like working in the trades can have?” says Reilly.

Founders describe the podcast as “by Native Americans, for Native Americans.” They share success stories and opportunities- all with the mission to change people’s lives.

“We’re always here to help others. Definitely. Another one of our goals is to be the support system that they might not have or the motivational outlet for, especially native people who might not have that support” Morgan Fritzinger, podcast host and social media manager.

Topics aren’t just limited work, they also celebrate Native American culture, discussing common struggles within the tribal community.
